SUMMARY:Skagit Flood Modeling Open House
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to attend the Skagit Flood Modeling Project Open House\, September 2nd from 4-7pm at the Mount Vernon Library Commons.  This event will mark the conclusion of the project.  Riverine and tidal flood maps\, a final report (including a detailed technical report)\, and access to the model and data will be accessible on the Skagit Climate Science Consortium and University of Washington websites at that time. Maps include a variety of modeled products for flood depths\, flood hazard mapping (depth and velocity combined)\, and duration exploring  historic\, mid-century (2040’s) and late-century (2080’s) conditions for coastal\, riverine and dike failure scenarios.  We hope you will be able to attend.
