Skagit Flood Modeling Open House

September 2 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

You are invited to attend the Skagit Flood Modeling Project Open House, September 2nd from 4-7pm at the Mount Vernon Library Commons. This event will mark the conclusion of the project. Riverine and tidal flood maps, a final report (including a detailed technical report), and access to the model and data will be accessible on the Skagit Climate Science Consortium and University of Washington websites at that time. Maps include a variety of modeled products for flood depths, flood hazard mapping (depth and velocity combined), and duration exploring historic, mid-century (2040’s) and late-century (2080’s) conditions for coastal, riverine and dike failure scenarios. We hope you will be able to attend. Feel welcomed to distribute this invite to others.

Please consider providing an RSVP to aid in event planning

The Project Team

Carol Macilroy (Skagit Climate Science Consortium), Heather Spore (Swinomish Indian Tribal Community), Nora Kammer (Skagit River System Cooperative) and Dr. Guillaume Mauger (UW Climate Impacts Group)
